Short Description: Canopy fitting part 1

Sam came over today to help with man-handling the canopy bubble. It was time to start trimming the bubble to fit. I was given a support frame to hold the bubble while trimming. THis is the 3rd generation RV-8 to use it. It really made life easy.
I used a 40 grit 100mm flapper disk on the angle grinder to take material off in incrimental steps. All of todays trimming focussed around getting the windscreen to confirm to the nose. SLowly getting there. A little more trimming to do at the front , and it will be sorted. Rear part of the bubble next weekend hopefully.
