Pre Oil Engine - Sensor failure
GEA 24 (EMS) indicated oil pressure was 143 psi WITHOUT THE ENGINE RUNNING.
Traced issue to bad oil pressure sensor. Found information that sensor had been discontinued (see attached image) and replaced with newer version.
Replaced sensor. And performed preoil per Lycoming Service Instruction 1241C.
Oil pressure was present both dring manual turning of prop and using starter..
