five-pound linear actuator arrived
rig it up
five pounds is a pretty fair bit - able to slow it but not stall it by pushing down on it
good thing: looks like it has built-in limit switches so it won't keep drawing current at full extension/retraction
this is MUCH lighter than the big one
run with this for the first iteration
switches came in - one medium-sized rocker is best - big enough to be decisive with gloves on, but not too big to make the throtlle handle awkward
