The alternator belt that Plane Power include with their alternator was too long. I stopped by NAPA and picked up a XL 7328 belt as recommended by Ted Chang. The belt fit perfectly. I safety wired the alternator and final torqued the Hartzell Governor.
I spent some time looking at the AFP fuel system, since Lycoming didn't install the fuel controller. I'll have to do some research since the AFP documentation assumes that it's already mounted.
