Brief Description: Hang engine, install governor and alternator
FF1-5, Step 1
Attach the engine to the WD-1001-D1 DYNA-1 Engine Mount. It took quite a bit of juggling for Brad and I to mount the engine. We started by putting in the top bolts, but couldn't get the bottom bolts in. We took everything out and started again by putting in the bottom bolts. It took another thirty minutes juggling with the height and angle of the engine to get the top two bolts installed.
Mount Hartzell S-1-32 Prop Governor
Mount Plane Power 60a Alternator. The supplied belt was a couple inches too long. I'll have to pick up a new belt from NAPA tomorrow. This had been a thread on VAF this past week, so the timing was good. Fortunaely, Ted Chang was a couple days ahead of me.
