Brief Description: Install elevator idler arm and control column
39-6, Step 3
Bolt the F-1063 Elevator Idler Arm Assembly to the F-1063B Idler Arm Brackets using the hardware shown in Figure 3. Bolt the F-1089 Elevator Pushrod Assembly to the elevator idler arm assembly using the hardware shown in Figure 3. Bolt the F-1090 Elevator Pushrod Assembly to the elevator idler arm assembly using the hardware shown in Figure 3. While this sounds easy, I spent about thirty minutes last night attempting to get this installed and accomplishing nothing, then spent another thirty to forty minutes today. Putting those washers in the bottom of the idler arm when you couldn’t see what you’re doing was tough.

39-7, Step 4
Install the WD-1010 Control Column onto the F-1033-L and F-1033-R Control Column Mounts using the hardware shown in Figure 4. The right side is a mirror image of the left. The control column should rotate freely on the control column mounts.
I also spent some time cleaning up the control sticks and the control stick bases so that they will actually fit together. I decided to wait to drill the hole through the control stick to a time when I’m not so tired. That may be a few days.
39-9, Steps 5 & 6
Bolt the F-1090 Elevator Pushrod Assembly to the bottom of the F-635 Elevator Bellcrank through a lightening hole in the F-1029-L Bellcrank Rib using the hardware shown in Figure 3. Bolt the F-1091 Elevator Pushrod Assembly to the F-635 Elevator Bellcrank using the hardware shown on Page 11-6, Figure 3.
