Brief Description:  upper wing skins / flaperon pivot arc trimming / t

I had pained the new trailing edge covers 2 days ago on last visit. Today I riveted them in place. Riveter frustrations. The "good" riveter will not operate correctly; keeps jamming up. Used the backup riveter. It wouldn't work, either. Took apart. Completely out of oil. Sigh. Ran down to the chapter hangar and loaded some oil into the plunger cavity. Works great now, thank goodness.

Cleaned the upper inner wing root skins. The left side had a middle stringer already fitted. Right didn't have one. Had to mark a reference line, clamp in place, and pilot drill. Up-drilled to A5 rivet size. Put in place and cleco'd. Waiting to install the front bent nose rib to rivet.

Lastly, the "arc" relief cut on the side of the fuselage is known to bind against the control rod bushing, so of course I didn't luck out. Used a dremel tool with a coarse sanding drun to enlarge the arc. Did both sides.
