Brief Description: Drill Horizontal Stab to Fuselage
Good day.
Returned from a week out of state. Rechecked all of teh critical dimentions: left right tip distance to wing attach tabs, level of stab in relation to cabin frame tubes, and pitch into the wind measured against the cabin side rails.
Got everything lined up and shimmed, then marked and drilled #40 holes from the stab to the brackets on top of the fuselage. Next, cleco'd the heavy side panels in place and back-drilled thru existing holes into the brackets. Finally updrilled all 4 corners to AN3 bolt side, #12 drill.
Just to see what it would look like, I set the vertical stab in place.
