Brief Description:  More start attempt

No photos.

From my last attempts, the engine would not start. No symptoms of even trying to start.

Speaking with Aircraft Ignition Services, I was thinking I had a spark issue. Disconnected teh P leads from the mags to ensure I had nothing messed up in the panel wiring. Checked all timing values - all were spot-on. I could not see any spark when holding the plug wire next to the engine casing.

Finally decided to get drastic. Got a can of starting ether and sprayed that in the air filter.

Once trying to stasrt, it was now backfiring and barfing all over the place. At least I now knew *something* was lighting-off the fuel/air mixture!

After thinking about it awhile, I'm thinking that with my fuel test arrangement, I don't have enough fuel pressure at the carb. I figured I wouldn't need much, since this is a gravity-fed system, but I was using only a few ounces. Speaking with Zenith tech support, they suggested piping the fuel reservoir into the wing fuel feed port, then use the on-board fuel pump to pressurize the system. I've ordered new fittings since I have to fabricate the final length of fuel line.
