The replacement shepard hooks for the fuel senders arrived today, no thanks to Fedex. I had to go pick up the package at their terminal. It frustrates me to no end in that the package arrived in town on Saturday and Fedex wasn't going to deliver until Wednesday because that is the normal time for ground delivery. Unlike UPS, which automatically delivers as soon as the package arrives in their terminal.
I don't understand why Fedex chooses to warehouse the package for three days just so they can deliver to their original estimate. Apparently they don't understand that people might be please if they were able to deliver sooner than their original estimate. So much for my venting and ranting....
Just use UPS whenever possible.
I bent the fuel sender float arms correctly this time and installed them.
I also tested the Fuel Guardian fuel sensors from Aircraft Extras. I had one minor issue, but a quick call to Rich and my mistake was corrected and everything functioned to spec. I wanted to make sure that everything was working before I Proseal the sensors in place.
