I cleaned all the leading edge assembly parts as well as rough them up with a scotch brite pad. I was able to get about 99% done before I ran out of primier.
I'm doing these a little different than normal. Since I'm installing Duckworks HID landing lights, some of the interior of the leading will be visible. I'm using a self etching rattle can primer, then I'll top coat with a heat resistance while gloss. The white will help reflect any stray light, plus it will be close to the exterior color.
