Brief Description: Spar Extension and Tie Down Bracket
13-2, Step 4. Attached the spar extension to the left spar and riveted in place with the spar splice plates
13-4, Step 11. Riveted nutplates to the tie down bracket
13-5, Step 1. Cleaned the brackets with a #12 drill bit. Attached the two aileron bellcrank brackets to the left spar. I also riveted the tie down bracket to the spar.
I misread my torgue wrench and had it of ft/lbs instead of in/lbs. I ended up striping one of the nyloc nuts. I'm having a bit of a problem getting it off, so I decided it would be a good stopping point for the night.
Even with the problems with the stripped nut, it sures feels nice to be building again instead of all that prep work.
