Brief Description:  Misc Tail tasks

Waiting to paint rudder and wings, so just picking out small things to do.

Vac'd out aft fuselage areas. Had the shop vac there the other day, but I needed a smaller hose, which I brought today. Very rear area near the inspection covers, plus the inner fuselage area accessed by the upper hole in the fuse, under the lower fin skin.

Next, I checked into this the other day, but completed it today. Notched the area near where the elevator stop lives to keep the trim motor cable out of the swing of the elevator cable. Wrapped the cable in some spiral wrap wire loom, then added heat shrink tube on top of that to keep it from unraveling. Then I tied the cable to the side of the fuselage with a ziptie bracket to the inside.

Checked trim motor operation to make sure all was aligned. Nothing. Oh well, the battery hasn't been charged in quite awhile, so no surprise. A few minutes later the "duh" hit and I remember I had trim activation switched to the stick buttons. Flipped the switch back to the panel and voila. Correct orientation.

Lastly, I riveted the side inspection port cover nutplates to the fuselage. 8 nutplates each side, total of 32 rivets.
