Brief Description: Punch List Items for Inspection
Was in Kansas for the past week; got home last night.
First up was to change the dessicant crystals in my engine dehydrator.
I then installed the upper panel edge trim that I bought from Amazon.
Next, I installed the sparkplug wire clamps under the rocker cover screws.
The other day, I installed the right door strut. I messed up the measurement, so the door wouldn't close. Today after checking with Zenith, I drilled a new mounting location (see the filler rivet below) and it installed just fine.
I then installed the left door strut. This one I installed a bit tighter in order to allow the door to open more fully. Unfortunately, that one was a bit off, so I had to "adjust" the end pieces on the strut ends to shave a bit off, effectively lowering the pivot point. Two adjustments, and it closes just perfect now.
