Brief Description: Add lower vertical fin brackets
I had previously test-fit the vertical fin. There are two .032 L angles that rivet to the top of the horizontal for stability of the lower edge of the fin. I had marked the placement lines, so today I removed the fin, positioned the angles, and drilled and cleco'd both angles. I then up-drilled both angles to #20 hole size for A5 rivets. Riveted both angles.
I then reinstalled the vertical fin and started to test-fit the lower fin angle, shown in the 2nd pic below. It's obvious that trimming will be required to provide a good fit. The profile of the horizontal stab leading edge needs to be deepened to allow a better fit of the fin.
