While I was wiring the sensors and systems, I used masking tape to secure the wires to the engine mount since I knew I'd be repositioning things while working.
Today I started permanently attaching the wires to the engine mount tubes.
To do this, I first wrapped a piece of splicing tape (thick) to the tube, then wrapped a zip-tie loosely to the tape. I then used a zip tie around the wiring and slipped the end of the zip tie under the zip tie wrapped around the engine mouint tube. I didn't want the wires just zip-tied directly to the engine mount tubes. I also used the splicing tape because zip ties have been known to abrade right through an engine mount tube, hence the protection.
