Brief Description: Fuel system / map box / chocks /
Lots of smaller tasks.
Removed center console assembly.
Permanently installed fuel pump - was previously held by cleco's.
Removed and reworked gascolator to manifold flex hose. I had an angled barb coming out of the gascolator, but it just didn't look "smooth." Cut a slightly longer section of hose and replaced the angle fitting with a straight barb fittin. Much smoother with less bending.
Replaced an adel clamp fastener - I had run out of machine screws for this one item, so used an AN3-4A bolt. Since the other clamps held with machine screws, replaced with a screw for a smooth undercarriage appearance.
Messed with brake pedals for the proper geometry.
Fabricated a one-piece wheel chock for the nose wheel; was just using some boards that would always end up out of position. Now they're tied together. Smaller, less obtrusive.
Started the map box option. I had previously marked the outline on the instrument panel, but wasn't sure if the map box door fit "in" the panel opening, or "over" it. It's an innie. Adjusted the cut lines for the panel. Removed mill marks and parts labels., test assembled the box to determine final sequence of assembly.
