Brief Description: Right side gear attach point bolts
VERY frustrating. Essentially 2 hours for installation of 6 bolts. And I'm only 1/4 finished. Had to remove the two bolts holding the gear weldment to the landing gear channel doubler due to interference. Next, I had to drill out a rivet on the bottom of the fuselage as well as the lower rear seat support rivet as they were blocking the spot where the nut would go. Lower most bolt took the most time, as there was just no room in there to get any tool on it. Finally used a retrieval tool (the plunger type) to slip a washer over the bolt, then hold the nut until 1-2 threads caught. Even then could only put an open end wrench on the nut in a perpendicular fashion. All the nuts/bolts tonight were on the front side of the right mount; still have the aft 5 bolts and the left side to do. Plus, it as 100 deg today; 94 at 7 PM when I started.
Note: Was in KS for 10 days las week, so since we've been back there has been a lot of catch up tasks standing between me and the airplane.
