Wow... twice I've touched the plane in the last 3 days.
Basically finished up the left wing.
Removed the upper root skin and the root nose skin; deburred. Deburred all mating surfaces as well.
Installed C75-W7-6, a stiffener angle that goes in the middle of the upper root skin. Updrilled and deburred.
I had one area of the root nose skin attach angle that was a bit short, since I moved the entire angle closer to the tip of the nose. Fabricated a short section of .025 stock, bent to the correct angle, and drilled.
I want to leak test the fuel tank one more time just to ensure no leaks. Then it will be time to rivet the upper fuel tank skin in place. The upper root skin and the root nose skin are not riveted in place until final assembly to allow access for flaperon connections, fuel line, electric, etc.
