Spent time removing bearing inserts, re-mounting crank onto engine stand (it was resting in case after magnaflux), scraping gaskets, closing up the case, and adding the accessory case.
Divco in Tulsa will check the case out for me. They're the pros everyone uses. They said that for shipment, I should join the case halves and snug 'em tight with 2-3 nuts. Evidently it's a bad thing if the halves bang against each other in transit. Go figure.
I also mounted the accessory case on there as well and snugged it down.
Prior to joining the pieces, spent quite a bit of time trying to scrape off most of the gasket materia.
Also somewhat unrelated, I spent quite a bit of time trying to get the bevel gear off the camshaft. Aircraft Services Specialties said I don't have to send it, but, good grief - I could not budge 4 of the 6 screws. Flat blade screws; I could not break them loose. Will have to think about that one.
