Started the day by disassembly of the door. Taking apart the door strut and the door hinges.
45-10, Steps 1 & 2
Temporarily assemble the C-1006A Handle Plate, C-1006B & C-1006C Handle Pivots, C-1006D Handle Face Plate, C-1014 Handle Spur Gear, and WO-1022 Door Handle Assembly. Align the edges of the handle plate, handle pivots, and handle face plate and match-drill #10 two places. Remove the C-1006C Handle Pivot and the handle spur gear. Match-Drill #40 through the C-1006D Handle Face Plate, C-1006A Handle Plate, and C-1006A Handle Pivot four places
Disassemble all parts. Final DriIl 15/64" the two #10 holes in the C-l006A Handle Pivot. Final-Drill #10 the #40 holes in the C-1006B Handle Pivot. Final-Drill 9/32" the #10 holes in the C1006A Handle Plate. Deburr drilled holes in all parts.
Rivet the C·1006A Handle Plate and C-1006D Handle Face Plate to each other and install nutplates.
I thought I had all the drill bits that I needed, but Step #3 requires a #20. If only I knew when I was at Airventure. I guess I'll be order a bit this evening.
