The fuselage kit arrives at 11:30pm by Partain Transport after being ready at Van's on 12/15.
Brad, Janice, Barry (driver), his helper, and I unloaded a crate that was on top of the fuselage crate into the street. Because we live on a curve, the length of the trailer blocked the street. We were able to get the crate into the garage in about 15 minutes.
Barry had a Lancair up front to deliver next. I found out that this was Barry's first time as a driver. The weather really caused havoc with his schedule and truck. He had an acident in Michigan which caused damage to his truck, but the trailer was just scratched. He was a a pleasant individual to deal with.
Tony on the other hand wasn't. I will not go into details here, but will share with anyone that is interested. The kit arrived in great shape. Barry and his partner were very cordial and assisted getting the crate into the garage.
My next kit will not be shipped via Partain Transport. Based upon my last call with Tony, he probably wouldn't accept my business either.
