Today was a bunch of tasks associated with the panel.
I started off with drilling a hole for the cigarette lighter hole in the right panel insert.
I then wired and installed the forward door alarm switches on both the left and right doors.
I spent most of the afternoon working on the two rails for the radio stack. I added nutplates on the front holes. Then I added nutplates to the existing holes on the sides. This allowed me to get rid of all the nuts and making screw clearance easier to manage going forward.
Aftewards I put the carbon fiber panel back in the fuselage. There was one hole in the left panel insert that wasn't drilled in the panel support frame. I drilled that hole and will have to install a nutplate during my next session.
I was going to install the radio stack, but I had one screw that I managed to strip the head. Unfortunately, my screw extractor was at home and not in the hangar. This will have to wait until the next session as well.
Carbon Fiber Panel back in the fuselage, still have a few wires to hook up on the panel inserts
