Brief Description:  Sub Panel Access Hole and VP-200 CU

I've been debating on how to mount the VP-200 CU and how to deal with access behind the sub panel. After investigating several options, I ended up copying Ivan Kristensen's solution. I cut an access hole in the sub panel underneath with the VP-200 CU will mount. I also fabricated a doubler that runs 1.5" around the hole. After deburring, countersinking, and priming, I riveted the six nutplates and then riveted the doubler to the sub panel. The last task was to test mount the VP-200 Control Unit. It was a perfect fit.

The VP-200 CU is the device that houses all the electronic circuit breakers.
