Brief Description:  Tailwheel Mount Drilling

Drilled the tailwheel mount and lower tail spar for AN3 mounting hardware required for assembly of the stub to the aft fuse. For this, the lower stub channel that was previously removed from the tail to support side panel spacing is re-attached to the vertical tail assembly so that the tail spar is drilled at the same time as the tailwheel mount.

Fabricated a 3/16" spacer block as per SNX-F21-02. This mimics the thickness of the vertical tail spar once the channel is off of the tail, to ensure proper spacing in the aft fuselage, so that when you *do* mount the tail, there will be room for the spar. Boy, that was a tough sentence.

Positioned the tailwheel mount in position on the spar channel and drilled to 1/8", the size of the pre-existing holes in the vertical channel assy. Then positioned the spacer block and drilled thru that. Then up-drilled by 1/64" all the way to 3/16", and trial-fit AN3 HW.

The lower channel stub will now be removed from the tail again, and along with the spacer block and tailwheel mount, will be fitted to the aft fuselage.
