Brief Description:  Aft Fuse Detail Subassembly

Lousy day for getting stuff done; just no initiative. Bad weather, day of errands, yard work between storms, etc.

With the skin, upper edges of the longerons, and crossties pilot drilled, I was completely out of 3/32 cleco's. Did a reclamation effort by up-drilling the lower crossties and crosstie box to 1/8".

Pilot drilled the upper crossties. Each one has 12 holes - only 5 will get riveted at this point, with the other 7 related to the turtledeck formers.

After completing the upper crossties, I realized that I should have used the seatbelt attachment brackets as the pilot hole location for the number 3 crosstie. Ooops. Was I relieved to see that both holes that correspond to the crosstie were drilled EXACTLY spot on. Whew!

Removed the fairleads from the fiber blocks (all 4) since it was obvious the rudder cable will not pass thru them (they are split in half, and held in place with a snap ring. Run the rudder cable, wrap the fairlead around the cable, and snap in place (not done; just describing).

Spent some quality time positioning aft-aft fuse parts like the bulkhead, shear web, and various angle pieces just to get a mental idea of the spacing, positioning, and what degree of effort will be required.
