Brief Description:  Cowl Centerline Hinge Drilling

Re-adjusted the centerline mating and re-taped the joint using packing tape. Good stuff.

Positioned the upper hinge in place and secured in place with packing tape. Drilled holes in the hinge halves themselves, then drilled and secured with cleco's to the cowl halves.

Repositioned the underside mating, as I just wanted it to be less-stressed. Re-Taped this as well.

Repositioned the cowl on the bench, and again secured the hinge to the cowl after drilling the pilot holes in the hinge halves themselves. Drilled pilot holes and cleco'd hinge in position.

As with the upper hinge, I then removed the cleco's from the inside surface of the cowl and repositioned to the outside.

Tomorrow is the test fit on the airplane!
