Brief Description:  Oil Cooler Baffle

I decided to try the lower oil cooler baffle tonight so that I could run the oil lines (well, see how long each one needed to be so I could fabricate it).

I first installed the exhaust headers temporarily, because the instructions caution the builder to ensure that there's no exhaust pipe interference with the cooler. Good thing I did, as it's a bit tight on one side. Do-able, but I need to be concientious about it.

So I bent the sides up on the flat baffle stock - then I noticed that the bolt holes in the part thru which the baffle attaches to the engine case are offset - and I bent them in the wrong direction. In hindsight, instead of stopping and re-drilling the holes, I of course decided to un-bend, then re-bend the angles - and the piece cracked. *sigh* Hello, Sonex? Can I buy a new part?

But, it was good enough to put in place to see how the oil cooler matched up. So for that it was worthwhile.
