Brief Description:  Initial Polish Right Aileron / Tail Paint

I've been working on the plane, just not noting in the log; most work was just cleaning, painting tail, sanding tail, etc.

Lousy wx over the weekend, plus my helper did serious damage to her back, so I didn't touch the plane on 18th/19th.

I had previously repaired the wrinkling paint on the vertical tail tip, and had painted it with two coats of paint. There were still one or two areas that needed another shot, so I did that. Let it sit for about 1/2 hr while I worked on polishing, then shot the tail with clear-coat. So far so good.

Also touched-up the left tail tip; waited some time, then shot it with clear coat as well.

I want to paint the outer tips of the ailerons to match the wingtips, so that means I must polish first. Today I did two passes of the "F" coarse grade of NuVite polish to both sides of the right aileron. I ran out of daylight before I could use the "C" medium grade. Picture below shows one half of the upper surface done, with polish dabs applied to the right side of it before buffing.
