Finished sanding the wingtips. Re-painted another top coat. This will just need to be lightly sanded and then clear-coated and I'll be done with 'em.
Next, I sanded the prior application of Nitro-Stan I put on the wheelpant seams. I obtained some better two-part stuff called Metal Putty that has very good sanding characteristics. Lathered that on. This stuff sets-up fast (like within 4 minutes) so I made up several small batches to do both wheelpants and all rivet surfaces on the left cowl half. Looks like I'll still need one further skim coat on some of the rivets, but will become clearer once I sand.
Humidity very high today; it's affecting the paint and putty.
