Brief Description:  Wing Doubler Trim / Gear Bolt / Exhaust Hangar

A little bit of everything tonight.

Started off by installing the cotter pin for the upper right gear leg. I had replaced the bolt with the service-bulletin-specified AN hardware, but was running out of time. Since the cotter pin installation is a real bear (super tight location), I just put it off until today.

Of course, as I was installing the cotter pin, I noticed that the exhaust hangar bracket I made a week or so ago looked like it was a bit lower than I recalled. Sure enough, it had slipped. I loosened it up, repositioned, and put a bit extra oomph into the tightening of the worm gear clamps. Will keep an eye on it.

Lastly, the most time was spent on trimming the wing doublers. When I initially rigged the wings back on June 4th, I had scribed the cut line, but never got around to it. Took the Andy Snips to 'em and trimmed 'em down. Then took my time and cleaned up the cut line with the vixen file - man, that makes a nice edge! Deburred a bit, ran a fine file over the edges just to put the final touch on it, and signed it off. I then noticed thatI had never deburred the rivet holes on either side, so took my time and did both sides of both pieces. Cleco'd back into position on the wings which are still in their stand.
