Cleaned up engine dust from the trimming/filing I did on the rear engine case boss, which had to be trimmed to get the lower oil cooler baffle to fit flat for oil cooler mounting.
Re-installed carb. Finished fine adjustment of throttle cable and tightened cable mounts. Installed 242 LocTite on AN3-6A bolt to secure throttle cable end to the AeroCarb.
Installed starter.
Started fitment of mixture cable. This has to be trimmed to length, so getting the routing correct to avoid the battery and exhaust pipes is somewhat important to figure out BEFORE trimming. Satisfied with the routing and length; will trim tomorrow.
Started to run fuel line between gascolator and carb. Plan instructions say to use an -6 AN by 1/4 NPT fitting; aerocarb instructions say to use a -6 AN by 1/8 NPT fitting. Found one online at Jegs, so placed an order.
