Brief Description:  Completion of Aft Fence Baffle

First up was to close the gap on the right side of the baffle (as viewed in the picture. In actuality, it will be on the pilot side). Because the baffling must be pulled out toward the front of the aircraft to overcome the cylinder offset, and for who knows why, that side of the baffle has a large (> 1") gap between the baffle and the engine case.

Other builders have said that they've fashioned a second piece of scrap aluminum to cover that gap, so that's what I did today.

In the second pic below, you can see how I placed a scrap piece in there to see what would have to be done to get it to fit.

The third picture shows it riveted in place. Note that I riveted from the back side of the baffle since the baffle in the upper region will be held tight against the engine case. The lower portion of the new piece is also bent to deflect air toward the cylinders and match the aft baffle profile.

Once that was fit correctly, I then drilled holes for the #8 screws that will hold it in place to the engine case, plus a new location for the oil breather line that will go to the air/oil separator (I put mine on the right side of the firewall).

Lastly, I re-measured and drilled 1.5" holes for the intake manifold.
