Bent the left (pilot's side) brake actuation lever to be the opposite of the right side - both parts ship the same since they're from Azusa, but on the Sonex both arms have to face to the rear of the plane. This required the rebend on one piece.
Spent the remainder of the time trying to get the right side brake cable guide bent correctly. The problem was not with curving the washer portion of the guide around the axle assy; rather, the problem was getting the lower part (on the right side of the pic below) angled out toward the brake actuation lever correctly so that the cable doesn't bind.
Also drilled the upper side of the tube to 3/16"" to accept the brake cable housing as it descends down the landing gear leg.
All that remains for the right side is to remove the rough stuff and paint it. Then repeat for the left side.
Take this nice shiny new part...
....and pound the life out of it to make it look like this.
