Rechecked and reclamped the alignment of everything, then drilled the 3 AN4 holes to mount the vertical stab to the horizontal stabilizer forward spar.
Removed tail; determined where I'm going to place the nutplates to provide greatest clearance.
Noted also that I'll need to trim the vertical stab skin to allow full elevator travel; upon examination, however, the tail spar rivets are about the same height as the skin, so I've put in a question to Kerry at Sonex to figure out whether I should reverse the rivets, squash them, or what.
