Riveted 3 angles to the glareshield
Positioned glareshield into position in the forward fuselage. Re-mounted fuel tank straps. Slipped the tank into position. Was able to secure the aft strap (hadn't installed the front one). Removed the seat pan. Cut a piece of medium density fiberboard to use as a "seat" during construction. This allows my feet to protrude into the aft fuselate. Not as bad as I thought it would be! Had to cut it to length and then cut reliefs on each side to clear an angled stiffener.
Installed the gascolator onto the firewall. Installed the fuel line I had fab'd a few weeks ago. With the tank in the "installed" position, the fuel line was a bit too tight. Trimmed some off of the fuel line and re-flared. Not much for wiggle room, but it fits well at this point.
