Just spent some time on cleanup items. Received another order from Jegs (oil cooler) and Wicks (plugs, firesleeve, clamps) today.
Trial-fit 1/8 NPT plugs into tank. Ran the tap thru the holes again just to give another thread or so to grap into the insert. Left the plugs in the tank, but did not seal them.
Spent the most time on the gascolator. Received a 1/4 NPT plug for the unused inlet side of the gascolator. Used the 1/4 NPT tap to clean out the threads; sealed them with teflon pipe sealer, then safety-wired the top and side plugs together. Next, I safety-wired the 4 fuel bowl retention screws together. I just don't want fuel stuff leaking out in-flight.
Lastly, made up somre more wire identifier tags for the ground wires I fab'd last week. Cut 3 more ground wires; like the others, I crimped fast-on connectors onto them, then labelled them as well.
