Brief Description: Brake Block / Control Idler / Panel CrossTie
Had some time, so I knocked out a few small tasks.
Positioned, drilled, and bolted the aluminum brake cable block to the left lower motor mount mounting block. This supports the cables as they transit from the brake application handle out to the wheels.
Cleaned up the control stick assy idler arm. Reamed out the 5/16" holes that hold oilite bushings used to mount the idler to the control horns on the left and right side. These are held by a castle nut and cotter pin - very tight fit, since the nut is placed between the two steel plates of the control horn.
Lastly, I had only trial fit and drilled the lower instrument panel crosstie assembly. Up-drilled the end attach plates to 1/8", deburred, and riveted each end.
