To finalize the aft canopy bow trimming I needed to correctly place the side tubes. The LH tube is already positioned correctly with the latch assembly but the RH tibe is attached to the canopy hinge, so that is what I installed next. The hinge was drilled and clecoed in place and the tube was match drilled to the other hinge half. The canopy plexiglass is normally sandwiched between the hinge and tube so in order to position the tube correctly I needed a spacer to mimic this. I used an off cut from the wind screen lexan which is the same thickness. All this done I was able to finalize the aft bow trimming.
Also, my new throttle cable from Sonex arrived today so I went ahead and installed that too. it required the AeroCarb to be dismounted again but other than that it was no big deal.
