Started fitting the canopy frame today, beginning with the aft bow and side tubes. The bow needs to be trimmed to the correct length, this is done little bits at a time, I have the side tubes with corners clamped in place to ensure correct positioning whilst doing this. The shape of the bow seems near perfect, I see a lot of kit builders having to re-work the bow quite a bit, maybe because I built these from scratch and bent them exactly as per plans, they are already a pretty good fit to begin with.
