Brief Description: Installed Left flap hinge pin retainer
Today I installed the L flap hinge pins and retainer. When I cut the eyelets on the flap I measured incorrectly so they were slightly offset from the retainer location of the flap brace. I had to make an offset bend on the outboard pin. It turned out OK and is safe and functional, but it doesn't look quite as clean as I would like. Next session I need to trim the outboard pins on each flap as they are about 1/2" too long and interfere with the aileron bracket.
