Today I was finally able to start putting the ailerons permanently together. I used LP4-3 pulled rivets to attach the nose ribs to the 1/2" counterweight galvanized pipes. Next, I riveted the nose ribs to the spar.
I then bucked while Colten shot the rivets for the top skins to the spar. It wasn't too hard with two people and we got half of the rivets done on each aileron. I pulled the clecos and have the rest of the top skin rivets taped in place, ready for the next session. Colten is getting pretty good with the rivet gun.
