I drilled out seven of the rivets on the bottom angle horizontal support for the firewall. They were slightly too short as called out and not having to worry about the engine falling off down the road was worth the half hour it took. They would have been fine I am sure, but I don't want to be on the bottom half of the acceptance range in this obviously important area. I next put a couple toggle bolts in the wall behind the wing cradle and hung up the firewall until I need it for the fuselage construction.
I started on the F-704 bulkhead. I laid out the locations for the 5/8" snap bushings on F704A, B, C, and D. Colten helped me with the drill press and we used a unibit to get them drilled. The snap bushings will be for the rudder cables going to the back of the plane and misc electrical wiring.
