Brief Description: Finished the firewall, finally....
Today is the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Over one hundred survivors attended a ceromony on the Arizona Memorial today. They are all close to 90 years old or older now. A very proud group of guys and rightfully so. I hope my generation doesn't screw up everything they fought and sacrificed for.
Tanner helped me finish riveting the firewall. We did a few 3/32" redos and moved on to the 601J angles. These were tricky because they were very close to the inside radius of the angle. VAF.net saved the day again as I learned using a hammer and a standard rivet set in the C-frame gave the best control and closest approach to the rivets. It worked well and Tanner was a great help again.
