Ya that's right 4 hours to mount 2 leg fairings. I spend a good chunk of that wresling with the larger fairing, trying to get it to line up. It wouldn't join at the trailing edge without wrinkling and I couldn't understand why until I removed it and saw that it worked fine OFF the gear and then it hit me. Klaus molded these using an Ez that is on it's gear and flying. This means the gear legs bow out. DOH! why didn't he mention that in the instructions! So what this means Is I'll need to add a bunch of sand bags on top of the airplane to simulate that weight and try to get the gear to bow out. I might even put grease pads under the tires to help. So lame. Anyway I was able to find a good angle to mount the leg to pant fairings after that fiasco and installed them per horrible instructions with dry micro. I may need to add flox to the trailing edge though. stay tuned...
