Cut Z04-03 channel stock to length for the forward and aft channels for the cross tie box. Trimmed edges by 1/8".
Fitted upper and lower cross tie webs into position. Pilot drilled 3 of the 4 channel edges for the web. Saving the last one until I can take extra care to ensure that the cross tie box is square and not twisted. (Initial tests indicate all will be OK, but the bugs are driving me nuts tonight. I've messed up other times when I was frustrated or rushing, so just want to take time in the AM when no bugs will be around).
