Drilled the 4 holes for the CHT probes. These are Type "K" probes that attach to the head itself, not under the sparkplug. Upon installing two of the #6 self-tapping screws, they snapped off in the head! I drilled two new holes and will have to obtain new self-tapping screws.
Installed the upper sparkplugs. These need to be gapped to .018". Installed anti-seize on the threads and installed.
Pulled off the rocker cover on each side. I had not previously lubed up the pushrod tips with white lithium (knowing that I was going to remove one head to correct the improperly placed supertin ducting). Removed the rocker shafts, lubed the pushrods, then reinstalled the rocker assy's and did a final setting of the valve lash.
