Sanded right wingtip with 400 paper; applied first clearcoat layer.
Had previously painted one side of each wheelpant (final coat). Wiped each with tack cloth and shot the unpainted sides. Both came out great! Will let dry for a few days, then lightly sand and clearcoat.
Applied first color coat to right cowl. Got good coverage, but will need a second coat for some lightly coated areas. Didn't want to keep applying more at this point to avoid runs. Will let dry a few days, sand, and re-coat.
Had previously primed just the areas of the left cowl that had the Metal Putty applied; tonight I primed the entire left cowl. The primer can says to either a) apply a color coat within an hour or b) wait 48 hours. I'll be waiting....
