Completed fabrication of SNX-W13-05 L/R attach brackets that will hold the wing tip onto the spars. Previously had cut the parts to length; today involved setting 45 deg angles and drilling 3/32" pilot holes in both, along with debur of the angles. This completed all tasks for SNX-W13.
Then moved on to SNX-W12, the rear spars. Cut to length pieces for SNX-W12-03 L/R, the angled tips that take the rear spar up to the 108" (approx) overall length. To save shipping costs, all of the Sonex kit channel stock is limited to 8' lengths. These tips are just mated with a doubler plate. Fabricated a 2.5" x 1.5" rectangular hole for each (haven't looked ahead, but I think this is for the aileron counterweights). Deburred.
Then cut the two rear spars to length and cut the angle on one end of each (SNX-W12-02 L/R). Deburred the cut ends. Marked out aft rib location marks on the spar. Instructions say to drill 4 pilot holes at each rib station, but based on another builders input, checked and found that the ribs already have the pilot holes in them. Will delay drilling any pilot holes until I get closer to attaching the ribs.
