Brief Description:  Sanding, Painting, Brakes

Sanded the right turtledeck former (the one with the runs in the clearcoat). Re-sprayed with clearcoat. More runs. Argh.

Painted the second color coat on the right horizontal tail tip. Looks great.

Shot the first clearcoat layer onto the vertical stab tip. This was painted about 2 wks ago. Got the peeling / alligatoring in 3 spots. Argh Argh Argh. Why, I have no idea.

Started sanding the right cowl. Will finish the next time I can wet-sand outside. Mostly just wanted to get rid of some runs on the underside for today's task. Has been clearcoated, so this is the sanding in preparation for buffing with compound.

Finally got some wire swivels at the local mower shop. Had to up-drill the hole for the cable, as it was too small for the brake cable. My Tech Counselor advised that it would be a good idea to have a backup on the cables just in case one of the azuza swivels loosened up.

Wet-sanded the other wheel pant. When my helper is available, I'm now ready to buff both of these with compound.
